Damn the Economy!

I’m pretty annoyed right now; can we have, like, a one week media blackout on the economy? I mean come on, why would ANYONE chose a president based on the economy? It makes NO SENSE whatsoever, there are much more important issues to deal with like Legalizing Gay Marriage, Protecting Abortion Rights, Winning the Global War on Terror, the Iraq war, and the support of Human Rights against Torture. I want the freaking media to talk about something important, not the mother f**kin economy! So what if the economy collapses? Considering how bad it supposedly is I haven’t seen ANY of my investments disappear, neither has my family… actually I kinda like it this way, cause stuff is cheaper. And considering how bad it is, I’ve gotten a new laptop, iPod, Camera, and hundreds of dollars of clothes since this mess started. I’ll probably get a new cell phone too. This is just a useless, smoke screen, side issue. So please, stop talking about the economy, talk about something important.

Cooper vs. Lohans

So Anderson Cooper just came out and said that Ali “allegedly a 14-year-old girl, looks to be about 60″ and  “wants to be a singer and or actor-slash-performer of some sort, striptease person, I don’t know.” And about Living Lohan “I cannot believe I am wasting a minute of my life, watching these horrific people” I’m surprised that he didn’t mention Sam Ronson, but he did mention that he didn’t know that the Lohans were are family and thought that the only reason they have a show was because of Lindsay, talk about stating the obvious. At least a few things came out of this:

• If I remember correctly this is the first time in a while that Dina and Micheal agreed on something.
• This proved that Cooper is an heartless empty shell.
• Cooper can grab attention/be a comedian.
• Dina is incapable of making a smart one liner.
• and I actually agree with Micheal on something.

So I think Pastor Lohan was right on in his statement on Anderson Cooper:

I think Anderson Cooper is an opinionated, hypocritical idiot who should be an adult and keep his opinion to himself. He is the last person to judge anyone, when he and his own family have their own issues.

CNN: No Excitment for McCain, interviews Fake College Republican

CNN published a report interviewing a college republican that says that:

“We try to get people out to our college Republican meetings, but … we can’t seem to draw the same kind of vocal support,”

OK, interesting observations, maybe because Sen. McCain’s supporters are rational people who want to think things through, while Obama’s have become O’bots, that just repeat the party line? Anyways thats not the point; the point is that CNN identified him as “a member of the USC College Republicans organization”, problem: he is not a member of the USC College Republicans. CNN has quietly fixed the article on their website and will be interviewing a “infuriated” USC College Republican president Ben Myers who says that “I’ve never met him, heard of him, talked with him, nothing,” thats lovely CNN, why didn’t you talk with Ben, oh but wait, that would hurt your talking points you got from the Obama Campaign right? Oh and why didn’t you post this little statement from Ben on your article?

“We get a ton of people at our meetings, and a ton of really enthusiastic people, there is a lot of enthusiasm for McCain and for the conservative movement in general.”

CNN posted a pretty lame reply when the news broke, a few questions, what kind of meeting is this guy trying to get people to come to? I mean if he isn’t a member of the College Republicans group where is he trying to get people to come, is this some sort of media fabrication scandal as some bloggers have implied?

Thankfully, not quite all the media is in the tank for Obama, ABC decided to post on this, so did fox, but then even Democratic Propaganda Machine LA Times was forced to cover it.
