PETA? Some intelligence, please?
This is CRAZY… I know they guys didn’t plan this and just reported on it since someone else already did this, but still, it’s insane and instead of publicizing this they should be condemning it! Cause it’s completely inappropriate and out of place in any social movement and I hope animal rights activists everywhere condemn this vandalistic action. Okay, I know this is old news and all, and I was thinking about blogging on it for a while but held off, but I’m finally deciding to say something about it after a gazillion friends or so asked me what I thought about it. Well, this is what I think, that “activist” needs to be reeducated and stop doing any other misguided actions that do anyone any good, last of all the movement as a whole.
Oh, and how the hell did this pseudo activist know whether it was real fur or not? I don’t think they have any clue, and they didn’t know that Lindsay ran around with an anti-fur clip just a few days ago.. They just need to LAY OFF!
Lindsay Lohan’s New Brand a HUGE HIT!
Lindsay definitely is NOT a has been as some idiots are pretending. I’m wondering whether Paris Hilton’s seeming inability to do much with her career right now is behind all these comments all over the web against Lindsay, just a possibility that she’s that bored… But if anything proves that Lindsay is still a VERY popular celebrity, retailers selling her brand, 6126 told the NYDN that they’re selling like “hot cakes”, and that they can’t keep enough of them in stock. The line is currently available at Henri Bendel, Intuition, Nordstorm, Intermix, and Lisa Kline.
The Daily News also said that the brand, 6126, is relying on it’s famous designer to do the selling. That famous designer seems to have quite the following. :P
Lindsay Lohan gets Facebook Back
So our very intelligent friends at facebook recently got Lindsay Lohan all riled up over her facebook being blocked, it sounds like the conflict is all over now. They claim that they didn’t delete her thinking that she was a faker, but for some other unnamed violation of their Terms of Service. To me it all sounds as if facebook is trying to do damage control now that their deplorable verification system’s fault is now in the spotlight by finding another excuse to disable her account, after all Lindsay contacted facebook after they told her it was her account was disabled and they didn’t do anything. Now that it’s in the spotlight they come out and say it was for some other reason, it doesn’t make sense. But congratulations to Lindsay for getting her account back.
And to facebook, fix your STUPID verification system. When someone as un-well known as me has been deleted for “faking” myself, your system has some SERIOUS issues to deal with, and your going to lose lots of customers if you don’t lose it. I guess that’s why I’ve liked myspace a lot more than facebook lately, even though most of my friends are on facebook.
Lindsay Lohan, ROCKS.
Give Linds Dee Lohan her facebook back!
On Lindsay’s myspace blog from Monday we find:
“okay, so i love myspace, because it is secure, and the people at myspace don’t disable your account because they think that you are a fake you. having said that brings me to the subject of my blog… facebook allows a lot of posers, i thought maybe they would figure out that the posers of me, (and i am sure others on facebook) were in fact posers by looking into their accounts, or sending emails to the people that they believed to be “posers” which ask questions. what those questions may be.. i don’t know. which is why i don’t run an interactive web site. on that note, this is what happened to me earlier today… i signed onto facebook with my new password because someone keeps hacking into my account, and when i typed my password and “log in” name in, a red sentence came up saying..
Account Disabled
Your account has been disabled by an administrator. If you have any questions or concerns, you can visit our FAQ page here.
wow! i was in shock. i clicked on the link that they told me to click on and then to another link that said: my account may of been disabled by mistake. once i got to that it gave a note saying why it was disabled which stated the note saying that it was disabled because they believe that i was a fake of myself. genius. here i am loving facebook (as well as myspace-hehe) but going on facebook to talk to some of my friends and they are thinking that I AM THE “FAKE” OF MYSELF!!! hahahahahaha.. at first i laughed, and then i got angry. angry because, with ALL the people that PRETEND to be me on facebook, they decide to say I AM THE FAKE- of myself. all i can think is, WHO is running this site? and how can they just “disable” my account without first, sending me a warning notice, or AT LEAST asking me some account verification questions. here they are re-designing the look on the site when they should be setting up a more secure way of allowing people to set up an account. i wasn’t even under my name, i had a fake name on my account because, obviously i didn’t want everyone on facebook to know it was me.
maybe i am just venting, but i am also writing this blog in hopes that the people at facebook will un-disable my account and allow me to sign in the EXACT same way it was, same friends, same emails, same “pets” and so on..”
So I have an idea Lindsay, set up a facebook group demanding your account back.. that usually works once you collect about 100 people on it, and that should be no problem for you. :P And by the way, facebook is known for disabling accounts all the time, but its “DISABLING” not “DELETE” so you can get it back if you write them too.. normally.
