Louie Gohmert: Move Gitmo to DC!

So this is kinda crazy, maybe the reason Congress’ approval ratings are so low? Texas Republican Louie Gohmert has introduced HR 6615 in response to the Supreme Courts ruling “Boumediene Vs. Bush” that upholds Habeas Corpus for detainees at Gitmo. On His Bill:

By transporting all of the detainees to the court’s grounds, my bill, H.R. 6615 – “To provide for the transport of the enemy combatants detained in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to Washington, D.C., where the United States Supreme Court will be able to more effectively micromanage the detainees by holding them on the Supreme Court grounds, and for other purposes” – will give the justices plenty of opportunities to interact with these terrorists and therefore do a better job of supervision.

Whats Up Jim?

Seems people think your in hot water now, cause you lied about who you worked for? Seems like a clumsy mistake to google and find another company with the same name? oh well, I know neither the Warner or Gilmore campaigns are really up to speed yet, but this little article tells me a thing or two about Jim Gilmore, one of them being that at least his position on lying are closer to those of Obama than McCain.
